August Gailit's Travelling Exhibition at Pärnu Koidula Gymnasium

The travelling exhibition Mr GE by the Valga Museum, created for the presentation of the August Gailit Short Story Award in 2025, is on display at Pärnu Koidula Gymnasium from October 9 to November 27, 2026.

According to the school's art teacher Anne-Ly Raid, literature teachers use the exhibition as part of their teaching, and it is considered a very good educational resource that has generated great interest. She also added that on all four floors of the school house there are different exhibitions, aimed at enriching and making the school's daily activities more diverse. In addition to the display about August Gailit's life and work, there are also boards introducing other writers from the same era connected to Valga County, namely Hendrik Visnapuu, Ernst Enno, and Bernhard Kangro.

From Pärnu Koidula Gymnasium, the Gailit exhibition will travel on to Kullamaa Cultural Centre.
