Valga Museum thanks everyone who contributed to the success of the 2019 cultural heritage festival "Old Livonian Diet" as an organiser, supporter, or guest!
The 15th-16th century era festival revives the Old Livoniad Diet (Land Day), which was historically held in Valga. The festival took place behind Valga Museum in Säde Park on July 13, 2019.

The folklore culture festival "Livonia Land Day" introduces local history, increases interest in the region's cultural heritage and past; strengthens local identity; offers local residents meaningful and entertaining leisure opportunities close to home; enhances the reputation of Valga city and municipality both locally and more broadly in Estonia; presents Valga as the center of Livonia, not the periphery; offers cooperation opportunities between different organizations, including cross-border collaboration.
