Library Information Search Workshop

Library information search, DIGAR, etc. The workshop takes place in the library.

Do you need to do a research project at school? Are you interested in local history and need historical information? We will teach all of this in the workshops taking place in August. How to find the necessary information from different sources such as the electronic catalog RIKS, the DIGAR article database, the Valga city chronicle, etc.? Take part in the workshop and become wiser. During the workshop, we will search for information about the beautifully renovated Lion House and prepare a text for a digital exhibition. Instructor: Merje Mändmets.

The workshop is aimed at young people aged 12–26 and is part of the joint project "Valga Lion House" by Valga Museum, Valga Central Library, and Valga Open Youth Center, with which we celebrate the 2020 Year of Digital Culture.

The project is supported by the Estonian Librarians Association and the Ministry of Culture.
