Museum Information System MuIS and Digitisation Workshop

Museum information search and digitisation. The workshop takes place at Valga Museum.

Do you need to do a research project at school? Are you interested in local history and need historical information, photos, or memories? We will teach all of this in the workshops taking place in August. In the museum workshop, we will introduce the museum information system MuIS, how to find information here, and how to digitize data. We will also try to find old photos of the city's gem, the House with Lions. Instructor: Marju Rebane.

The workshop is aimed at young people aged 12-26 and takes place as part of the joint project Valga House with Lions by Valga Museum, Valga Central Library, and Valga Open Youth Center, with which we celebrate the Digital Culture Year 2020.

The project is supported by the Estonian Librarians Association and the Ministry of Culture.
