Exhibition 100 Years of Moving Images
Film is magical, enchanting several generations of Estonians over time. This magic spread among the people over a hundred years ago from the first city cinemas, later captivating families at home in front of television sets, and thanks to technological advancements, it now surrounds us everywhere. For the average viewer, however, it may remain a mystery how a film is created and how much effort is put into every frame. The exhibition reflects the history of cinema art in Estonia and Valga County.
The opening of the Valga Museum exhibition will take place on March 10 at 18:00 at the Valga Railway Station as part of the Estonian Music Video Festival. At the opening, a museum researcher will also give a presentation on film history. From March 13, the exhibition will be open at the Valga Museum.
The exhibition "100 Years of Moving Images" was organised with the help of the Järva-Jaani Cinema Museum, NGO Film Club Duubel 2, Tõrva Municipality, Valga Municipality, Estonian Cultural Endowment, Estonian Film Database
