An exhibition reflecting the symbolism associated with Valga County throughout the ages will open in Valga Museum's permanent exhibition hall on April 15, 2026, at 4 p.m.
The oldest symbolic items and images depicting them date back to the 15th-century Valga borough. On display are also postcards from the Czarist era, items from the period of Estonia's first independence, Soviet-era company and collective farm pennants, badges, and more, as well as symbols from recent decades.
The curator of the exhibition is the museum's collection manager Kaarel Vissel, and it will remain open for several months.
