Exhibition SWEET MEMORIES OF HOME
This is an exhibition of works by artists connected to Valga County, whose pieces are preserved in the collection of Valga Museum. The title of the exhibition coincides with the name of a work by Juhan Raudsepp from 1966, which is also displayed in the current exhibition and recalls a well-known Estonian folk song about a beloved home.
The exhibition Sweet Memories of Home (Mu meelen kuldne kodukotus) introduces the works of South Estonian artists and their connection to local life, nature, and people through Valga Museum's art collection. Represented are versatile creators – artists, sculptors, graphic artists, translators, and poets – whose works reflect the landscapes, urban life, and culture of South Estonia. The exhibition features works by artists such as Mart Pukits, Juhan Raudsepp, Feliks Randel, Kristjan Teder, Linda Markus, and many other creators connected to Valga County.
The exhibition was compiled by Neeme Punder

The exhibition in Valga Museum gallery will remain open for public until August 27.
