The Magic and Challenges of Pollination
To welcome spring, Valga Museum is hosting a themed exhibition from the University of Tartu Natural History Museum from March 18 to May 31, 2026.
The exhibition introduces the diversity of insect pollinators, their adaptations, and the dangers caused by human activity that threaten both the insects and the plants dependent on them.
It consists of information stands and five spatial interactive exhibits, including digital displays showing how insects see plants, exhibits about insect proboscises, and a device for identifying different insect groups. There is also a mechanical exhibit on the development of an apple blossom, an exhibit introducing honey bees and a beehive, and much more.
The exhibition opening hours are extended until August 27!
