On the second floor of the permanent exhibition at Valga Museum, a booth introducing the story of Valga Wine Factory was opened on January 15.
The exhibition focuses on the significance of the former Valga Wine Factory for the town and county of Valga. The factory provided a substantial part of the town's employment. Individuals who previously worked there recalled those times at the opening, as the demand for wine raw materials created conditions for the development of horticulture in the vicinity. Additionally, the exhibition examines the factory's production, its differences from the wines that were popular in Estonia before and after the factory's operation. The exhibition will remain on display in the booth for an extended period.
